Joe Hall, under his company, an agent for Coldwell Banker, Joe hired me to put a sale date on hold so he could pursue the sale. I said my fee was $2000.00 with a $500.00 processing cost. He charged the client $5000.00 so he could make 1/2 of what I made. Client paid $1000.00, of which Joe Hall of Coldwell Banker received $500.00. I did the work, got the sale date postponed with a reinstatement and unexpected loan modification offer, all of this done within 4 days of the client's home going to sale. The client never paid. Joe promised $1000.00 to show good faith and keep our working relationship going. The client fired Joe Hall, Joe only paid me $500.00 and said the other $500.00 will come as I am hoping the client will come through on her payment. The client did not come through; in fact, he told the client was hiring an attorney. I demanded payment, and Joe said I know you're tight on money, but I asked you to call me, not text me. He gave every excuse but no payment, and then informed me NOT to threaten him. I would not trust the character and integrity of Joe Hall, and do NOT trust him with any type of fee agreement. I intend to call his brokerage company as well.'
